Prof. Dr. Kaushik Sil is a graduate of Calcutta National Medical College. He has done his surgical specialization from SCB Medical College, Cuttack. Dr. Sil underwent Superspeciality training in neurosurgery from Kolkata. He has taken training in Paediatric Neurosurgery from Necker Children Hospital, Paris. Dr. Kaushik Sil has worked with eminent international neurosurgeons during his career. He has numerous national and international publications and has spoken at many international meetings. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Kaushik Sil is also a professor at KPC Medical College & Hospital in Jadavpur, Kolkata, where he contributes to the education and training of future medical professionals. His main area of interest is Child Neurosurgery, Endoscopic Neurosurgery, and Complex Spine Surgery. Currently, he is practicing in Priority Medical Clinic Lake Avenue, Manipal Hospital Dhakuria, Manipal Hospital Mukundapur, Park Clinic Minto Park. Dr. Kaushik Sil is a senior neurosurgeon of international repute, known for his excellent management skills and extensive experience in treating complex brain and spine problems. With over 30 years of experience, he specializes in conditions such as brain tumors, spinal disc prolapse, brain strokes, subdural hematomas, and spinal deformities. Dr. Sil has a particular interest in childhood neurosurgical issues, including hydrocephalus and spinal birth defects. After completing his DNB Neurosurgery course, Dr. Sil pursued numerous specialized courses in Pediatric Neurosurgery in Paris. He has been associated with prestigious institutions like the National Neurosciences Centre and Park Children’s Centre. Throughout his career, Dr. Sil has collaborated with many eminent international neurosurgeons, including Prof. A.P. Kahn (France - Pediatric), Prof. Shizuo Oi (Japan - Hydrocephalus), Dr. R.P. Sengupta (U.K. - Vascular), Prof. A. Zerber (U.K. - Spine), Prof. A. Guha (Canada - Peripheral Nerve), and Prof. Atul Goel (Skull Base).
